Lovely news just before Christmas!
I suspect they wouldn't have said anything until later had she not had to go into hospital. Sounds like she's not very far on.

I'm pleased for both of them - they seem both to be very nice people but I just hope the press for once gives them some space - especially after everything we have heard during the period of the Leveson inquiry - which most of us knew anyway

Great news! It's a pity they felt compelled to announce it before the critical twelve weeks were up. In the days before Twitter etc they could have waited. I hope she gets over the sickness soon.
This is going to be a testing time for the Press. |

No I think they'd got everyone in the UK who'd had the worst ever HG on the line, some had been in hospital for almost the whole pregnancy and you can imagine the rest...........
I was in the car but didn't turn it on when I got home as I'd had enough!

A friend of ours suffered badly from it during her first pregnancy (25 years ago) and used to carry a plastic measuring jug around with her, everywhere she went, just in case she couldn't get to the loo in time.
I always remember that whenever we go to her house for a party and there's home-made food and cakes as part of the buffet
