| For one week only. Covering for Alex Lester week 25th February. I think she covered for Chris Evans in 2012 if I'm correct? |

Only on Fridays. It's not nearly so bad on Mondays-Thursdays, when Matt Baker (he of Countryfile) accompanies Alex instead of the aforementioned annoying berk. The reason why I avoid the Friday edition of The One Show. I can't imagine Alex Jones being a shouter, she certainly isn't on the Mon-Thurs editions. I might have to 'listen Again' one day that week. I don't remember Alex Jones being on Radio 2 last year, but I'll stand corrected if I am wrong.

Indeed, I don't think Alex Jones is a shouter. She seems very professional to me, though she may have to speak up a bit on Fridays for obvious reasons.
She appears more confident Mon-Thurs when she's with Matt Baker. And when she can actually share the limelight. |

| Alex in for Alex. Cool beans. You can make a third person from their surnames. Lester Jones, sounds like someone in his mid 40s, unmarried, who'd drive a Range Rover or perhaps a large Volvo, runs a small antique shop in Hove, very posh accent, has a charming way with women, but isn't interested in them, often wears a waistcoat and has a boyfriend called Justin who is in his early 20s. |
