Radio 2 is conducting some market research with its listeners in London. Would you like to get involved? Read on...
The BBC is continuously looking for ways to enhance the services they provide, and as a listener we are interested in obtaining your views and opinions.
The research will take the form of an online forum for the period of a week (from Monday 25th February onwards). Some contributors will then be selected to attend a 1.5 hour focus group in the evening on Monday 18th March in central London; all participants must be potentially available on this date.
Those that take part in the forum will receive £30.00 as a thank you for their time and a further £40.00 will be provided to those who also attend the group stage.
The research is being arranged by Criteria Fieldwork, a market research company.
If you are interested in participating in this research, please contact Criteria on email rachael.penny@criteria.co.uk, quoting the reference BBCRadio2London to register your interest and let them know the best time to call. Criteria will need to ask some very brief questions to check your eligibility before scheduling your participation in the research.
Please rest assured that this is not a sales exercise and anything you say during the course of the research will not be directly attributable to you. Criteria Fieldwork is a Company Partner of The Market Research Society. The Market Research Society provides a free-phone number for you to verify their membership if you wish: 0500 39 69 99.

The obvious question is why such research is restricted to London
I accept that the research in question might relate to a specific project but quite frankly in this country there is far too much emphasis on London and the South East - and sadly despite moving some of their operations to other areas following a great deal of arm twisting of certain staff the BBC is still a serious perpetuator of this ridiculous obsessive South East agenda _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Yep, agreed. I assume this research is because London is such a battleground but it does annoy me when the likes of Jamie Theakston or Lisa Snowdon pop up on national TV to plug their local radio shows as if we all care about London. They don't get Gerald Jackson (who?) on Loose Women, do they? |

He probably wouldn't go on even if he was asked ...
Gerald has played many a request for me on his lovely Unforgettable programme. |
