The first ever UK's Super Casino has been announced and it went to Manchester. Other venues included blackpool or the Millennium dome in london.
It will also include shops and a super hotel.
The government will not consider other venues until they think this one is successful.

If we have to have it, I hope it's Blackpool and absolutely not London - there's already plenty for Londoners to do and plenty of regeneration going on there. |

I agree, Ian. Why does London have to have everything? _________________ Geddon

They won't put it in BLackpool... Blackpool is for OAPs and young families, they'll put it where the money is..... |

Turns out you were right, but surely the point is to put it somewhere that will attract people with money? So it wouldn't be appealing to the people already there, and will help with regeneration?
Something that Blackpool needs - unlike Manchester, who already have extensive regeneration and more than enough rich w@nkers hanging around. |

At least the Man Utd players won't have to go far to spend their money. _________________ Geddon

You're right Ian ... but the people in power can't see past the $£££$$$$$££££sssssss.....why risk having to attract people with money to a place ....... There is no "human element" to these kind of decisions...... |

There will be larger casinos built in other areas. I can't understand the anti campaigners against the one in London saying it could create crime, how do they know that would?
One thing is the government are winners they will get around £800 Million in tax every year. |
