It has been reported on BBC "Look North" that local people in Hull want Police to ban an English National Party march in the town. A subsequent interview with local MP Diana Johnson has her saying that people from outside Hull should not be allowed to march in Hull.
Have I got this right ? Is Ms Johnson's attitude any less racist than that of the party she seeks to criticise ? _________________ Standing on Ray Moore's shoulders |

It's very popular at the moment in many Local Areas for the Local Governments to seek powers to allow them to treat people from outside that area differently to that of the local residents.

Some areas in the country have 'local occupancy' clauses on some houses , usually council / ex-council houses/ housing association, which mean you have to live to work in the area. |
