What has happened to this show ?.

I am not deeply religious, each to their own, but I did used to enjoy the religous debate etc when Don Maclean was presenting the show, now we get Belinda err-um Carlisle plugging her new french album. OK I admit she did mention France is catholic and she is a buddhist but does that constitute a religous programme ?

Must have been. Anyway I wanted to agree with you that its turning into a copy of the early Walker Sunday show with more emphasis on new-age and "spirituality".

Obviously the BBC is feeling a bit awkward about putting people who actually believe in a divine being on the air these days

Feel Aled Jones has generally improved the show but, in common with other programmes, it allows too much plugging of new books, albums etc.

I much preferred Don Mclean, I just find Aled Jones so bland, not just on Good Morning Sunday but when ever he stands in for anyone.
