Two programmes coming up this Saturday,the 5th of September,on Radio 3 with John Wilson and his orchestra bringing us a celebration of Leonard Bernstein.

I went out to watch a fireworks display(which was brilliant) on the promenade last night and completely forgot to record this.... ....that'll teach me not to do it straightaway. I do have the Radio 3 recording but seeing the orchestra and singers brings a whole new dimension to proceedings...thank heavens for the iPlayer.

It wasn't my favourite of his Proms Becky. My favourite is Hooray for Hollywood, very different from last night's.
