Radio 4 today at 11.30am. I heard it by chance in the car. It is a good old-fashioned sitcom which is funny. The cast includes Philip Jackson and Alison Steadman, so IMO that is good enough reason to listen  |

I posted this in the 'other place' Eileen..
Thoroughly enjoyed this Eileen. Reminds me of the wonderful Shedtown by Tony Pitts. Just one niggle though..it was blindingly obvious that Alison Steadman along with Mark Bentham was playing more than one character. When Alison started talking as Joyce,after being Corinne, it stopped the flow of it for me. Would much rather they hadn't done that. |

You've cleared up something for me, Becky. I saw on that new forum there was someone called Becky but I thought it might have been another one!

| Ah yes,Eileen. I tried to register as becky sharp but for whatever reason it said that name was not valid ( I've seen that others had a similar problem with their names and had to change)so I tried just becky and it worked! |

I had the same problem, it didn't seem to accept capital letters for me. I wondered if you could change your name?

Sounds as if there were a few glitches,Helen..perhaps just teething problems.
I would think we could probably change our names once we're registered on there....you can on most boards. |

I've thoroughly enjoyed every episode of this series and the way it was left gives hope there will be more. I hope so as Jeff has surely got more pearls of wisdom to impart to Andy or whoever will listen  |
