2 name drops in 10 minutes from a certain host this morning. Princess Margaret and JK Rowling.

I think we should start a regular thread to list the incidences of such celeb hop nobbing.

Hi Ernie,

That's nothing.....

I once spent an entire month sat next to a R2 morning DJ while on a 3 hour coach trip from Birmingham to Wells................. there was a brief respite when she locked herself in the loo and couldn't get out, although to eek a few more moments of peace out of it, we had to physically restrain the young chap who tried to help her.

Do we really need to know about the awards that Chris has won in the past? Leave it out Chris.

Quite! I worry about the show after she goes off on maternity leave. She has a great way of keeping Chris in his place.

Yikes. Chris is telling us that he was offered the job presenting Deal Or No Deal and 1 vs 100 but turned them down.

Back when it was first pitched. I dont think it means much as tv show ideas get pitched all the time and only a small minority of the ever get made.

He's often mentioned turning down 1 vs 100. I think he's a bit bitter about it - especially now it's a hit.

Dermot is sufficiently low-key on 1 vs 100 I have no problem catching up on 45 mins sleep.

If Chris presented it I think they would have to rename it " 1 vs 1 million", given the amount of criticism the poor guy gets. Laughing

I didn't hear Sarah this morning. What song was that? The 'music played' page hasn't been updated yet.

I've never heard of 1v100 Confused but I can't imagine Evans doing deal or no deal at all.
