South Devon NHS Trust have banned carol singers from wards at Torbay Hospital, though they can still perform in public areas.
Sensible precaution or politically correct rubbish?

There'll be some health and safety reason behind this ruling - blocking the aisles, corridors or something. It may be due to the possibility of offending minorities, which seems to be the 'in-thing' to announce this year.
Unless of course they just don't like Mrs Singers and want to stop her entering the building....

They probably kill more people than the help, since they bring their illnesses in with them (Flus, colds, etc). Well meaning, but deadly to people with vulnerable immune systms. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
