There's an old favourite returning to Radio 2 next week: Parsons & Naylor's Pull-Out Sections. It's been a while, and I thought it was gone for good, but nice to have it back. Not exactly cutting-edge or original, but good fun and better than Out To Lunch.

Also back soon is Clive Anderson's Chat Room, which was quite interesting.

And finally, Ade Edmonson's patchy Teenage Kicks is going to BBC2. I hope the kids are recast. And the script rewritten.

Is Adrian Juste still alive? If so, can we have him do the comedy hour. Smile

Laughing I'm full of praise, me...

Actually, one of the co-hosts of Out To Lunch, Russell Howard is doing amazingly well at the moment. Got a regular space on Mock The Week and doing a sell-out tour. I don't understand Confused

Russell Howard was Russell Brand's replacement on 6 music. Indeed, I remember Liz Kershaw saying that you now had to be called Russell to get a Sunday morning show on 6 music. Rolling Eyes

Yes it's hard to believe that he was a bit of a pop star in the 1980's........

He is still around. I saw his name printed on a radio guide presenting a one off show over the festive period on a BBC local station. Can't remember which one.

Mark, the Comedy Hour scripts should be derived from your posts. They're much more laughable.

Aww, I laughed at Lee Mack! The joke about Krankies being the warm-up for King Kong was great, and it was all good fun.

Dunno about Teenage Kicks, 'cos my girlfriend wouldn't let me listen Sad
