Am listening to this live on the DAB radio but it will on Sounds later.

Right now it's 'I was there' with Gillian Reynolds and Paddy O'Connell and it's so nostalgic. I'd recommend a listen as I think she is so good on radio.

Heard a bit of John Bishop earlier and that was good as well as one who was just getting into music in 1963 all the atmosphere is there.

Lots more to come over the weekend. Smile

I was sitting in my car yesterday afternoon, listening to this on my personal DAB, with the rain hammering down, waiting for my grandaughter to come out of school. Just finished it off on the listen again. A glorious listen. So evocative, as you say, Helen.

I highly recommend the two part Abbey Road Story. Really good and thanks to Audacity, recorded. I will be recording more of these wonderful programmes over the next days.

Mind you, not all of them were good. The FNIMN last night, was pretty awful, I thought.

Raver so glad you heard it, I had you in mind when I wrote the post!

Agree about FNIMN. Heard just a bit at the start as I was finishing off something else and on one of the songs the singers where as flat as a pancake!

As you say there will be lots to catch up with, I think we have to make the most of these 'specials' as they will become fewer as time goes on. At we'll have the recordings to listen to later though.

Enjoy the rest!

There are programmes available that aren't on the Pop-Up Beatles as well, H.

They're headed The Beatles, as opposed to Radio 2 Beatles.

The Beatles Live In America

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0008k0w

Help Is On The Way!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0008nj3

Magical Mystery Tour

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b01nclk0

Paul McCartney In Concert

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b03f0cv7

A Year In The Life 1962

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b01n0y2q

In The Beginning; The Beatles In Hamburg

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b05pl3bn

'I Hope We Passed The Audition'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b05pmq5m

Our cups runneth over...and if it wasn't for you posting about Audacity on Jezza's, many years ago, I wouldn't be able to keep them. So thanks again.

Raver you're welcome, that's one of the reasons I liked the message boards. It was someone on the Beeb's who told me about recording.

Thanks for those extra ones as well. I think I've seen a link to one of them but definitely not all of them.
