Not his own orchestra but maybe worth a listen. I'm not familiar with the names of many of Eric Coates' music but I expect I will recognise some of the melodies.
I had the chance of applying for a ticket but wasn't sure if we were going to be away at the time. Wish I had now!

Thank you for that, Helen. I wouldn't have noticed it in the Radio Times. I love music by Eric Coates.
A few years ago there were a number of radio programmes featuring light music which contained some delightful items. |

I've recorded it Eileen, so I'll listen at my leisure!
Alan Titchmarsh used to play a lot of Eric Coates' which reminds me I should listen to my recordings of his shows more often!

I recorded it on the Sky box this time so I can listen through the stereo speakers as I have leads to it. I've still the option to 'listen again' though!
