Could he be referring to Radio 2 ?

Frontman ROGER DALTREY says, "It's very hard for bands in our position to get airplay these days. That's a fact. "Very few DJs these days love music. They're just personality. A lot of music is chosen by a bloody computer."

On the other hand, Roger, it may just be that your latest record stinks. Jutt a thought.

I tend to agree with the above poster, they're not exactly putting out great tracks anymore are they? bit like the Stones.... in real terms plain rubbish. It's only their former glory carrying them now. ( and I liked the who back in the old days )

I remember hearing a new Who single on Radio 2 about 4 or 5 months ago with a big build up by the presenter, something about famous singers or something?.
anyway, it was completly naff ( in my opinion)! If it was by anybody else, it wouldn't have got on air.
Past their sell by date.

Daltrey can't be complaining about Radio 2 - they play The Who all the time! I think even Paul McCartney and Ray Davies have more cause for complaint than he does. Or maybe, like Morrissey, he doesn't listen but likes to moan anyway...

I will settle for the 8 minutes and 32 second version of Won't Get Fooled Again anytime.
Possibly their finest track.
