Enjoying listening to Jarvis Cocker reading his memoir on Radio 4
An interesting character - love Pulp's music too.
In one of the episodes he talks of when he was a 6 year old in hospital with meningitis and his classmates sent him hand made cards.
Reminded me of the time my daughter was in hospital having her tonsils out when she was at primary school. All of her classmates sent little hand made notes and cards to wish her well.
We still have them.
Jarvis Cocker delves into the contents of his loft and considers each item before deciding whether to keep or cob (throw away) and, in doing so, explores the origins of his creativity and what exactly makes good pop work and why bad pop fails.
