Confirmed that Vernon Kay will be the new mid-morning host from May, with Gary Davies covering the slot until then. Gary will also be introducing Radio 2's new pop quiz, "OOH!"
Just give the gig to Gary!

Don't like Vernon Kay at all so won't make a habit of listening.

Judging from that Media Centre rubbish, R2 is now the Country Music station that we've all been waiting for. Yee Hah!
Bit out of tune with the Van Morrison as well. Desperate times for the creaky old station. I thought Vernon Kay was pretty good a while back, when on I'm A Celeb. I expect his wife was too busy on Strictly to take up the offer. Claude wasn't, though.
And musicals...they loved them so much, that they turned Friday Night into Sunday Night!
Ken was good on that as well...
Almost forgot. Of course Gary Davies should have got the gig. But he's not a celeb!
