From the flip side
Jeff Smith, currently working for Napster, takes his new post up on March 26th. Lesley Douglas, (Controller of Radio 2 and 6 Music) is quoted as welcoming the appointment as it will 'move Radio 2 forward.'
Why do those words from Dame Lesley fill me with dread. _________________ Geddon

It's an interesting choice, as he's been outside the radio industry for a few years, and will hopefully lead to a few changes in Playlist policy.
And as he used to work at Wise Buddah it should mean more work for Mark Goodier too... |

I thought his job was to pick the music, not the DJ's.
Its good news for survey companies if Goodier gets a full time gig. 8 out of 10 survey companies said they liked the way himself and Allinson based the show around their latest company funded "survey" results. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
