You are most kind. With my television career long behind me, I now devote my time to amusing kids at Flambards and other entertainment venues in the South West of England. However, I still do get asked to press the Magic Button regularly - so people have long memories!
Thank you for the kind welcome.
Carrot anyone?

Does Flambards still exist at Helston? I remember it being there around 20 years ago or more. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

With my more serious head on! I remember a great TV series (circa 1979) called Flambards about an early aeronautical engineer who built & flew his own plane. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

That was nothing to do with me, alas. I had my own TV show on Westward TV at that time and was quite busy pressing the Magic Button for the happy viewers whose Special Birthdays they were celebrating.

Glad to hear you're still keeping busy, Mr Honeybun - TSW sent me a signed photo just before they closed down, which still has pride of place in my collection!
I won't ask any rude questions about where Judi Spiers stuck her hands, though....... _________________ "....you're wearing a plywood bow tie with Dundee United on it?" |

Excellent! A long lost fan! Did I press the Magic Button for YOU?????
Aaahhh, yes. TSW. They didn't really want me on TSW but my campaign of Westcountry insurgence force the TV bosses to change their mind. Rabbits rule, OK!!

Yeah, you don't mess with Gus that's for sure!
The Magic Button remained unpressed for me, as sadly I only caught your TV appearances while I was on holiday in Plymouth, but it's my birthday next month if you fancy giving it a push....... _________________ "....you're wearing a plywood bow tie with Dundee United on it?" |

I might have seen you as I took a breather up on The Hoe - the lunches were better in the bushes up there. The air was a lot sweeter than the air in Stuart Hutchison's cupboard under the stairs!
