I really like Joe Cocker's new/current single, the lyrics are quite thought provoking I think and of course there's no mistaking Joe's voice, good stuff.  |

Hymn For My Soul, from album of same name.
As the title suggests it's gospel and soul tinged pop from our Joe, in something of a spiritual mood, quite a shock for anyone expecting the usual balling rock and blues. Only samples available on his website http://www.cocker.com/

Apologies, you're right TTS - it's "Just Pass It On" which is getting the airplay, and rightly so because it sounds the most catchy of the tracks on the album. A nice summery feel and lyrics to ponder as you say. No mention anywhere of its forthcoming release as a single.

I might be wrong I just assumed that as it is getting the airplay it will be released as a single.
I haven't heard any other tracks off the album, don't know if it's any good. |
