Cor luv-a-duck!! Lucky indeed.
I remember watching one of those 'emergency' programmes some time ago where paramedics had been called to a traffic accident. Now, I've often heard and used the phrase 'wrapped around a lamp-post' but this vehicle really was - it had been driven straight across a roundabout at high speed, taken off, rolled on landing and skidded roof first, right into and around the lamp-post.
From the comments made, and the way the car was wrapped, it was obvious they expected to remove a body but miraculously, the chap was taken out with minor injuries.
The irony was, it turned out he'd tried to kill himself a couple of times before and it was believed he'd deliberately driven recklessly ... _________________ "I'm a firm believer in not having to play the hand you're dealt." |

Bet he won't be so lucky when the Police finish their investigations into the "incident".
