It's too costly, apparently to do this.
Doh. They should have thought about this before rolling out this sub-standard technology.

Hi Ernie,
Cost does seem to be inhibiting the spread of new technology to more remote areas - currently there's a lot of rather annoyed people in the far north of Scotland awaiting the arrival of Broadband, in some cases less than 10 miles from a major city such as Inverness. Prohibitive costs have been declared as the reason why the service is not available yet - so DAB is no different.

As long as you remain in the same spot forever then you should be ok
DRM's better than DAB. Everybody knew that. But they went ahead with DAB anyway.
