I can't take the credit for finding this myself, since it was flagged by one of the long-time and eclectic contributors to the BBC board who has stuck with it, but if you like easy listening music then Koop, and their album Koop Islands, might be worth investigating.

As is frustratingly common these days the Biography page of the site isn't really, but they're Swedish and this album of swinging, summery music sounds a bit like Bert Kaempfert with vocals, and also like some of the material that Pink Martini do. Earlier album Waltz for Koop is more sultry 60s-type jazz in feel.
