I was pleased to see Mark O using a poppy as his avatar today. Well done, mate.

Yes it was good to be on parade today in our small Lincolnshire market town, especially with it actually being the 11th. There were the veterans, Army Cadets, ATC Cadets, St John's Ambulence Brigade, Boy's & Girls Brigade (with marching band), Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. Aged from 5 1/2 to over 90, the behaviour of the children was impeccable, made me proud to be involved with them, the veterans were pretty good too!
We will not forget
