A union has said teachers should not be prosecuted for having affairs with their sixth formers.

There are two sides to this.
If the pupil is underage and has had sex with the teacher then I think the teacher should be sacked from their job, as I personally think this is overstepping your trust in your job working with kids.
Or
The Teachers or Pupils concerned should be removed from the school and relocated to another school. It's a little harsh adding them to a sex offenders register. I think the unions, police and education authorities always go for the easy way out.
