Bruce Dickinson lead singer of Iron Maiden has been flying XL Passengers home on his own chartered flight. This too help the struggled company who went bust on Friday. He also flew home Zoom passengers another airline company who went bust earlier this year. |

There's a lot to be said for having a break at home in the UK. If more of us thought that way , the airlines would never have existed, and so wouldn't have gone bust, our own hotels and resorts would be booming, and global warming would be much reduced. |

I think Bruce was ploughing a little of his money into this. As he said on the news he had to clean the aircraft and provide the catering. I would expect there is a lot of work needed to get these aircraft off the ground. Airport ground tax, fuel, and staff etc..
