I really enjoyed watching "The Best of Spitting Image" last night on TV.. made me realise just how good this programme was/is and how much I miss it! some really funny sketches were shown and the characters were so well done.
Thinking back, it also helped a political dimmo like me identify who was who in the Government too!
They said there were no plans to continue with the idea which is a great shame imo.. think of the fun they could have had with Mr. Bush!
Obviously that recent CGI version was a complete flop and sunk without trace... but I'd be looking at resurrection Spitting Image if I were in TV.

I missed that - when was it on??
I bought the series 1 DVD last year but wasn't impressed enough to buy series 2 when it was released.. |

I think it must have been Saturday night - about 10ish.. no doubt it'll be shown again, worth watching
