Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs is to be released. Although he's in Hospital an ill man the Home Secretary jack straw has decided he should be released on compassionate grounds. At the end of the day he can't go anywhere.

From the pictures in today's newspapers and on the TV he does not a well man at all.
I wonder if he will recover from his current illnesses.
Notwithstanding his crimes I have no problem him being released. |

What a fuss about a criminal who has never showed any remorse for the death of the victim during the robbery, who died some time later but as a result of injuries received. |

If he had not legged it he would have been out long ago, I don't wish the man dead or any suffering but I have little sympathy for his situation either, he is certainly not a hero or a 'lovable rouge' |

His son thinks he's won. In my eyes there are no winners. |
