|
|
Just read that Radio 1 is having a major change to schedules in September,
Fearne Cotton is moving to weekdays 10am-12.45pm
Greg James, 1pm-4pm, I think he will be a breakfast show host at some point, he's a good listen
Dev, 4am-6.30am, just moved from 1Xtra
Jo Whiley and Edith are going to weekends,
So some new competition for Ken and Steve, |

Jo Whiley is an excellent presenter although judged a "bit old " for R1.
She should be snapped up at the first opportunity by the R2 controller.
Would be a useful replacement for Steve Wright- we might get some good music in the afternoons. |

I cannot stand Jo Whiley - she's one reason I moved to Radio 2! I hope she doesn't follow me... |

A radio 1 producer told me on 'good authority' four years ago that Jo Whiley was about to move to Radio 2. Evidently that authority was pretty much empty. |

Interesting statement. Does Annie Nightingale still have a show on Radio 1 and hasn't she been there since the start of R1? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

There is a thread about this subject in Coffee Bar. This is because it's not related to Radio 2. |

Mark, go out and find a new life, I dont read the coffee bar threads as i dont want to know what colour cardigan you boyfriend is knitting you, this thread about radio 1 is relevant as it the BBC and has direct line competition with Radio 2, so stop putting people down, you are not in charge of these boards!!!!!GROW UP |

There is no need for that attitude, which some may consider to be abusive, here.
Mark's point was valid, in that this thread of yours duplicated the one of his started earlier, and this sub-forum is intended for discussion of changes to Radio 2 _________________ Ron |

This is just another of Scott's aliases. So easy to spot. A name made usually made up of two christian names and the abusive posting starts as he's barely into double figure posting. |
