I'm really enjoying this series, something different to the norm and quite compelling at times.
I was particularly taken with the plasticine garden at the Chelsea flower show
O/H liked the Meccano bridge, apparently he used to love Meccano when he was younger.
Next episode is a giant Selectric set. |

I think most boys loved Meccano and always dreamed of making that ruddy great crane shown on some of the boxes... I still have lots of Meccano pieces - wheels, gears etc in the garage. Those gears were of excellent manufacture.
James May is an excellent presenter.
I'm still aghast at the "Full size" Airfix Spitfire! fantastic TV.. can't wait for the Scalextric show... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
