John Suchet is to replace Simon Bates at Classic FM. Simon is taking over Smooth Radio breakfast in Janaury.

Interesting I think his style would be fine but I have no experience of how good his musical knowledge might be

Sounds much more appealing, I've not listened to Clasic since coming across Simon Bates was on there, part of that awful R1 thing for me.
I did like Henry Kelly but that is going back a few eyars now

Also John Suchet is a big knowledge all things Beethoven so it could be a good thing for Classic to have someone on the show that is passionate about the music (are you watching Radio 2?)

I've heard John Suchet present many times on ClassicFM.

He has a good radio voice, good knowledge and so he's a good choice.
