Not my normal kind of film but there wasn't a lot on tv last night so gave it a go.
Brad Pitt for me has done some pretty good films in the past 7, Fight Club.
Angelina I'm not such a fan of but my OH likes her serious films like Changeling and I do respect her for choosing those kinds of films.

Mr & Mrs Smith is dreadful do not watch it go directly to jail, I want my hour and a half back please, Action comedy apparently no it wasn't

I have never fancied it,Dis,so sounds like I'm missing nothing....they got together, didn't they, when they were making that film.

When 7 came out I was very tempted to pinch the poster for it that was on a bus stop round the corner from me.... and lovely as Morgan is it wasn't for him...... Embarassed

I watched a bit of this last night as well - what a load of crap!

You did better than me Undiscovered - I lasted about 20 minutes.

Personally I don't rate Angelina Jolie much as an actress going on what I've seen of her (though I'll be the first to admit I haven't seen everything she's done).

Favourite Brad Pitt film is 'Legends of the Fall' with Anthony Hopkins, Julia Ormond and one of the most beautiful men on earth (and a mighty fine actor with it) the divine Aidan Quinn (swoon smiley)!

Great movie!

As for last night I ended up watching Michael Sheen in H. G. Wells: War with the World on BBC4. Was on the point of giving up on that as well, but stuck with it, and it was ok. A bit heavy duty but afterwards I did a bit of reading up on H.G thinking it was just a dramatic portrayal only to discover it was based on fact. Never knew he was such a womaniser! Shocked

Going off topic a bit so hope I don't get my knuckles rapped but I watched some of War With The World too,Sis and found it boring so gave up on it ...did record it though....and looked up H.G on line instead and like you was a little surprised (don't know why Very Happy ) at his lifestyle..

I'm sure Undiscovered won't mind us going off at a bit of a tangent Becks. No point starting a new thread about the H. G Wells movie - we'd be the only two on it! Surprised

I agree ... I was literally on the point of switching off and going to bed but I wasn't particularly tired, so thought I'd give it another 10 minutes. It was hard going but as it went along, the more incredulous I got at his behaviour (his poor wife!!!) the more I got into it.

Thought it was a fiction until I read up on him afterwards - kids and mistresses all over the shop! Shocked

And going back on topic - yep Mr and Mrs Smith was the one where they 'got it on' as it were.
