I was interested in how a song from a stage play evolved into this US hit for Bobby Darin.

I can recall Neil Hannon of the Divine Comedy saying the Darin version made him think of the Rat Pack in an interview.

The Psychedelic Furs' version was pretty cool too, in their way.
