Not a particularly exciting opening race, but good to see it back on our screens. The transition from Jonathon Ledgard to David Coulthard was seamlessly executed; I never really felt that Ledgard was quite on song with what was going on during the race.

It was good to see the rookies performing well today, particularly Petrov and Perez, the latter getting in the points on his debut in F1. Pleased too that we'll probably be seeing more pit stops this season with the new tyres.

Worth getting up early for! Very Happy

Uh-huh - just seeing some tweets that Sauber (Perez and Kobayashi) might be disqualified for technical infringements. Sad

It's nice to see the team that's based just down the road from me (Red Bull, at Tilbrook in Milton Keynes) getting the success it has earned.

Yes, and Vettel gave a more measured response on winning this race today.

Not quite so emotional as what Martin Brundle called his "kleenex moment" upon being informed he'd won the World Championship last season. Think Red Bull's victory run will continue this season, as will the carping that they've somehow flexed the technical spec rules.
