One the best loved Snooker commentators of all time Ted Lowe has died at the age of 90.

To me Snooker on television has never been quite the same since the great man departed the commentary box

A real gentleman who knew his sport inside out but always retaining his modest approach and informative style treating snooker addicts and newcomers equally kindly

A very sad loss to all sports fans
