I see Richard Branson and Jonathon Ross are in talks to acquire Absolute Radio and set Wossy up in a 'flagship' breakfast radio show. If it comes off I shall miss Christian O'Connell.
Perhaps I'll have to go come back to Radio 2. _________________ Minx

I can only hope there is a vast improvement in the music policy if Richard Branson does take over Absolute Radio. I hope he makes it much more like the Virgin Radio that used to be. Not so sure about Wossy though, but IMHO he can't be much worse than the current one. Perhaps they will invest in some new CDs and we'll hear something other than the seemingly limited few from 2008 / 9 that they are still flogging to death, not least that Elbow track 'One Day Like This'. For goodness sake, haven't that band released another album since The Seldom Seen Kid? Why aren't they playing tracks off that? As I said at the start, I don't hold a candle for Wossy, but do hope that Richard Branson can make substantial improvements to the station! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |
