I thought Manchester City were a bit unlucky to be honest but as for Manchester United - I think they lack leadership and are on the way down Very Happy

Playing in the Europa League on a Thursday night will harm their domestic prospects and must be good news for teams like Liverpool Spurs and Chelsea

Can't see how it's good news for Spurs as they will be in the same boat as Utd. Chelsea are still in Champs League and Liverpool lack consistency so don't think you have a point!

Any team which has to play in the Europa League on Thursday evenings invariably has its routine disrupted and consequently its weekend performances and results often suffer

It doesn't really matter with the likes of Stoke or Fulham because realistically they are not going to finish in the top four of the Premier League

However with teams like Man City and United they obviously do stand a good chance and so if their domestic results suffer as a result of playing on a Thursday night that must be good news for other teams in the top half of the table

We are only just over a third of the way through the season and any of the teams in the top half of the table could still secure a top four finish so I think what I am saying is perfectly logical Smile

Harry has done a lot for spurs but do think he is ott in some of his comments. We will not win the league though i do think we have a good chance for top 4.
I have to confess i do have a soft spot for utd in fact they were my team till i was 9 or 10.Micky Thomas and Gordan Hill were my fav's but then i saw Glenn Hoddle and that was it for me
