I am sorry, but his excuse of India becoming a important financial and emerging country the reason for his latest jolly to Mumbai has not gone down well in my book . Will he be planning trips to China, Brazil as well?
In the first few moments this screeching Indian women was introduced and the decibels from her voice made me switch off straight away.
I think it is a waste of my licence money, sending him and support to other countries. What is wrong with the UK? We have just had a Autumn statement which is full of doom, and to-day there is a nation wide strike. many people are having trouble making ends meet so sending this guy to far off fields is unnecessary and a waste of money.
What is going wrong with the BBC? Are the staff so overpaid and cushioned they are unaware of what is going on in the real world?
I can listen to the news I do not need a JV travels to explain what is happening in the world. _________________ I like hedgehog crisps |

I agree absolutely Hedgehog
I could not see how the vast cost of such a trip could possibly be justified when the BBC is cutting services on such a large scale
Quite a few of the guests he spoke to were actually in Britain anyway so it would have been far more sensible for him to stay here and speak to the Indian residents by phone
I can't really see why goings on in Mumbai would be of much interest to people here anyway and I thought the programme was rather biased in any event to suit the PC brigade who seem to pop up within the BBC from time to time
Personally the very last subject I want to hear about is India when I seem to be spending a large amount of my time having to speak to call centres based in India staffed by people who can seldom speak proper English and who take the jobs of ordinary British people
Well done to the guy who has moved his call centre back to Burnley - let's hope others follow _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

In these times of austerity isn't it nice to see the BBC using licence payers money wisely? |

I've no idea why they had to go to India either. It didn't interest me so only heard a few minutes of the show.
