It sounds shocking to us in Britain but sadly it seems not that unusual in parts of Africa and we're never going to alter that fact however much we may be disgusted
We can, of course, prevent foreigners who engage in such vile practices from coming to Britain but to do this we need an immigration system which is fit for purpose and which does not allow our country to be the dumping ground for a large proportion of the world's problem people
It seems from recent evidence that we have a very long way to go in order to achieve much progress in this regard _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Ruddles, I agree. We are the dumping ground for the world's rubbish. The same applies to other Western European countries, though they tend to shove it all over to the UK.
Trouble is, all these people have to do is utter 'political asylum' and they stay for years. And they arrive with either forged passports or no passports so deportation is impossible.

I've just noticed the title of this thread which to me is absolutely baffling
As far as I know at no point was witchcraft used to kill this poor child - it was quite simply pure physical torture and violence which no child anywhere should have to endure
The excuse for all this violence was alleged witchcraft quite simply because the boy concerned left a pair of wet underpants in the kitchen which apparently was a sign he was possessed by the devil
It makes me very angry that not only do we let foreign child abusers have safe passage into this country and no doubt have to fund their benefits bill while they are here to add insult to injury the British taxpayer has to fund the cost of a lengthy trial which would never have been necessary had the abusers been sent back to Congo as they should have been years earlier _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |
