I watched that extraordinary blustery match as we have Sky which I was always against having but OH wanted it for cricket, rugby, films etc so I am sometimes glad I gave in !
I'll be watching the final tomorrow and hope all threat of a tornado has gone. |

Another great achievement. Even if he doesn't win, this has been a fantastic year for British sportspeople.
Apart from the footballers. |

Wasn't it wonderful? I stayed up and saw every shot. Congratulations to Andy and also to Novak for a tremendous comeback. Although every champion hates to lose I can't help feeling that he was secretly pleased for Andy as they are such good friends.
PS Becky - where do you get the champagne glass and stars emoticons from? |

I pinched ( )them from the POV board,Eileen and put them in my Photobucket account but you can cut and paste them from here and store them somewhere on your computer. |

Yes what a match! I stayed up till 2.30am too, to see the end, great win, he was knackered and as usual had little to say about his win
P.S. We used to have an R2ok Photobucket site with hundreds of images and emoticons and some ex-member (knowing the password) deleted the site so you'll find some old threads have lost their images like the webcam thread:

The sister site R3ok still has their Photobucket archive but I can't publish the passwords here; as Becky says those little emoticons are easy to find and save for yourself somewhere. _________________ -

Did anyone see Andy's homecoming to Dunblane today? it was delightful to watch him walking along the street with hundreds of people cheering him, getting his autograph, taking photos - and in the case of some primary school children - showing him the pictures they had drawn. What a lovely occasion, and the rain had stopped by then. |

Just seen a little bit on the late news Eileen. Lovely to see him hit a few balls over the net with some of the children.
