QPR Joey Barton has been banned for 12 matches after the disgraceful violent conduct during the Man-city match.

____________

QPR are going to appeal against it to see it can be increased Laughing

In my opinion he should be banned for life - his track record is totally appauling

The man is a complete a--hole - I was absolutely amazed to see him being interviewed on Newsnight a few weeks ago - of all the people they could have picked Rolling Eyes

It's significant that neither Everton nor Liverpool want him anywhere near their respective clubs and I can't say I blame them

Agreed, he's a complete waster/nutter. Apparently his latest antics were an attempt to get opponents players wound up and get them sent off; but they are wise to him, didn't work, idiot.

If we did this in a place of work we would be sacked, but football seems to have it's own rules so even if qpr do sack him somebody will take him on

I was sad and pretty angry to read that Swindon Town has apparently signed the former Plymouth goalkeeper who was responsible for causing the deaths of two young children in a horrendous motorway crash while he was twice over the drink drive limit

I sincerely hope that all away fans will boycott all Swindon home games if only out of respect to the poor family who suffered at this idiot's hands

As has been pointed out - one rule for overpaid footballers another for the rest of us Mad
