People in Scotland have the last BBQ before it gets cold.

People in Miami cease to exist.
People in Scotland lick flagpoles.

Californians fly away to Mexico.
Scots throw on a light jacket.

Polar bears evacuate the Arctic.
Scots Boy Scouts postpone winter survival classes until it is cold enough.

Becky, when you posted that list did you realise the degrees were in Fahrenheit?

No,John,just pasted it and copied it form elsewhere....never gave it a thought....the overall concept of it made me laugh..

Well the concept is flawed. It doesn't actually get very cold in Scotland, and it's often colder in parts of England, and Scots are good at wrapping up in winter - because of the winds not particularly because of the temperature. So, the 'concept' is flawed, very flawed, utter nonsense really.

I don't think it matters if it's Farenheit or Celsius, it made me laugh too Becky.

My son-in-law obviously has a strong constitution. He's from Inverness and he won't be supporting England!
