Prince Phillip ( Duke Of Edinburgh ) has been taken to hospital in Aberdeen for a precautionary measure. It's apparently a recurrence of a bladder infection which he had back in June. |

Without wishing to sound too disrespectful I can't see the old boy lasting much longer, I hope I'm wrong. |

I agree - 91 is a very good age and you expect some things to go wrong at that stage - nobody has yet achieved immortality in this world so I think the writing may be on the wall _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Philip is one of the few royals I like, he has character.
I wish him well as I think he'll be missed once he does shuffle off. |

I don't think you're being disrespectful,Toggy, and as he is 91 I think you've put into words what most of us are thinking ...he's a tough old bird though. |

I hope he comes out all smiles, but he needs to take a step back and we may not see him in the public eye for sometime if nothing does happen. |

He did!
There was an engrossing documentary (The Queen's Mother in Law) on Channel 4 last night about Prince Phillip's mother .........what a life she had! .. a fascinating watch.
It's repeated on 4seven tonight at 9 for those who are interested or who have that channel..I have only just realised I do! |
