Thanks folks. I stumbled across this forum when looking to see if there was anywhere on the internet discussing Michael Ball's new Sunday Show.

To be honest, I really only listen to Radio 2 on Sunday as I am busy during the week and seem to work better with Radio 4 as my background noise.

I started listening to Radio 2 back in the early 1970s. In those days, I was a kid growing up in Dublin and Radio 2 was fairly easy to listen to on 1500 metres Long Wave. I (and many others) was highly annoyed when the 1500 meter position was given to Radio 4.

Since living in the UK, I returned to Radio 2 but, being older and wiser, also discovered what I now consider to be the joys of Radio 4.

With the advent of internet radio, I have also returned to listening to Irish radio - in the form of their main station, RTE Radio 1, which has some interesting discussion programmes, especially on weekday mornings.
