I would have liked to have heard more about today's topic of lucky escapes rather than some bloke rabbiting on about plumbing.

Anyway the subject reminded me of something that happened to by better half. He would have been on the train that crashed at Potters Bar if it were not for the fact he spilled coffee on himself.
The few seconds it took for him to find a bit of paper towel to wipe it off his hands made all the difference. He never spills anything normally.
I don't know if it was fate or just chance or if someone or something was looking after him that day, 7 others were not so lucky. Sad
