Another sad loss this week, Percy Sledge died yesterday aged 74 years. R.I.P.

What a pity that he signed away the rights to When A Man Loves A Woman.

Warm And Tender Love was another good song.

Didn't know that Schiz ...did he sign it away before he made any money from it,do you know?

A classic song sung with a lot of feeling.

Yes another sad loss.

I liked both of those songs. I may be getting confused but wasn't Warm And Tender Love one of the songs Johnnie Walker played on his Caroline shows before he went on leave or on his return?

I think both records were often played on JW's 'Kissing in the car spot', but I may be wrong.

Becky: according to the article above, he had written the tune but then gave it, and any rights to it, to someone else, who wrote the lyrics to it and kept the rights.

To his credit, he didn't seem very bitter about it.
