|

My Dad died 3 weeks ago and I have been left with a very large collection of both vinyl and CDs of the Sinatra, Nat King Cole and jazz ilk. They date back to the early 60s and maybe a few earlier albums from the 50s.
A few will be of interest to me but not that many.
Has anyone any ideas of how to dispose of them, possibly to an organisation that would appreciate them?

I took some of my parent's vinyl collection to an Oxfam shop a few days ago, they had a notice in the window saying 'we want your vinyl'. The British Heart Foundation also accept them. They both also accept CDs. I know what a sad task this is and I hope this helps. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

There are of course business and sales people who regularly advertise in the classified columns of most newspapers who will pay good money for old vinyl records especially ones in good condition so why not try that approach and then donate the proceeds to a charity of your choice - especially one your late dad would have supported _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |
