What a glorious sight
It just shows that sometimes the old technology works a lot better than what we have today and certainly steam trains are so much more fun
I'd happily brave the snow to travel on a real train _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Viewers of "Heartbeat" will of course recognise the railway and its rolling stock - it stops at Goathland (aka "Aidensfield") on its route between Pickering and Grosmont. It's wonderful to watch the train cutting its way through the North Yorks Moorland - I love it. |

I know this railway very well. Trains run between Pickering and Whitby in the summer now though Colin. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |
