Ok its a Mail article, but interesting none the less - Suralan has certainly gone up in my estimation, maybe he's not so bad a judge of character after all.

Although I'm pleased to see that there are people in high places who can't stand Evans (welcome to the club!) I think that a member of The House of Lords should really have risen above this. As Littlepieces says above, it is rather pathetic of both parties to behave in this manner in such a public medium.

Oh! I feel a new story coming one. Could be interesting as I like both of em. Lord Sugar- the perfect dad... and Chris Evans the perfect brother. Smile

I'm with Evans here. If this really is Sugar tweeting (and it's a big if), then he's proving to be the nasty, charmless little oik that I suspected he was.

Chris comes across very well in this spat. Chris was right to pull Sugar up on his narrow-minded view of shop workers just as Pamela Stephenson should have pulled Sugar up on his narrow-minded view of Clinical Psychologists when they both appeared on the Graham Norton television show a few weeks ago.

It's a pathetic PR stunt.

I'm inclined to agree, Mark, and I can't see Lord Sugar wasting time and effort on Twitter.

Did someone mention a story? Smile

I think you're right, Schiz. It's all very fishy - definitely a question of "if". I can't see Sugar having such a spat on Twitter. It's very common for imposters to stir up trouble - and I'm sure this is one of them getting up to no good.

A PR stunt by whom, though?

It looks like a stitch-up by that insidious rag called the Mail, if you ask me.

lord Sugar does tweet. I have heard Moyles mentioning this on numerous occassions and does comment on his show. I wonder if these were false accounts.

Do you really think that Lord Sugar would bother himself tweeting?

Can't see it myself

It's more likely to be somebody at the Daily Mail, to be honest. I wouldn't put it past them.

He does:

Probably from his Amstrad e-mailer telephone!

Me neither. Someone is having a joke at Big Al's expense, methinks.

I wonder if Chris Evans created a fake Sir Sugar ID on twitter & created this "spat" with himself to promote his book?
Either way, Evans comes across very poorly in that exchange

It's a real Sugar ID (verified and everything) - you can't blame Chris Evans for everything!

But I accept it could be done by a PA. I don't follow the likes of John Cleese and Paul McCartney because people do their tweets for 'em. That's too corporate for my liking.
