Looked at the Jonathan Ross webpage this morning and further down the page, this appears:

"FROM THE MESSAGEBOARD
Did anyone see Dita Von Teese on Jonathan Ross Saturday Night? She is a Burlesque striptease artist and they showed a clip of her routine. Nearly gave my husband a heart attack!"

When you follow the link, it takes you to the 'Deleted' thread which seemingly doesn't appear on the current board anymore, the last replies to this section being in mid-December.

So the BBC deleted sections of the old R2 message boards, but think it's okay to refer to them six weeks later because it suits them to?

What did Lord Reith do that required forgiveness?

Cherskiy,

That is a very interesting (and amusing) discovery you have made.... we can still read over 12,000 deleted posts going back to 2005 at

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio2/F2142831?show=25&skip=0

Have to say, our place is definitely an improvement on this:

I was being ironic.

Lord Reith was noted for his seriousness; remember announcers in dinner jackets.

There would have been no Russell Brand with him!
