On Five Live tonight at 9......
In December 1980, arguably the greatest sports film of all time was released. Thirty years on from the premiere of Raging Bull, 5 live sport celebrates Martin Scorsese's masterpiece.
Scorsese tells the story behind the making of the film, while 'The Bronx Bull' Jake La Motta, whose career the film documents, reminisces with Mike Costello.
Current fighter Paulie Malignaggi discusses the impact the film had on him, and the demise of Italian-American boxing culture.

you must either listen to a lot of radio or trawl the programming an awful lot.
Can't listen to it now as at work but, as RB is one of my favourite films I will listen to it later on

Nothing as arduous as that,Dis....there's a much more simple explanation... . Five Live is one of the radio stations I listen to so when I heard the trailer for this programme I thought others on here might be interested and like to listen to it.... hence the thread
Haven't listened to it myself yet but hopefully will be able to catch it before it disappears off Listen Again
